We loved our two weeks in Sedonna. The red rocks, red sand and picturesque hiking trails made it a memorable experience for us. We hiked, we swam, we learned about the vortex phenomenon and we toured the art galleries. We even had an opportunity to do some translating for a young Spanish fellow. We loved Sedonna and the beautiful vistas and cacti.

A commencement celebration!
April 19, 2007 was a big day for us. Allison Mason graduated from UNLV with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. We are so proud of her. What a wonderful accomplishment for a beautiful and bright 24 year old. We were thrilled to be there for the celebration. She is working as a physical therapist in Logan supporting Paul as he completes his degree from USU.

Don Likes to Fish. . .
One of my passions is fishing - mainly fly fishing both small local creeks and the larger western rivers. Photo #1 shows the Colorado River below Lake Powell - James & I did a float trip from the dam down to Lee's Ferry. Photo #2 shows me surf fishing in the Pacific Ocean at Cabo San Lucas - I caught a nice yellow finned tuna here last year.
Temples Visited. . .
On our travels, Barb & I have been visiting LDS temples along the way. We have recently been to the Boston, Manhattan, Mesa, St. George, Las Vegas, Provo, Manti, and, of course, Logan. Photo #1 is of the Boston Temple in early April - it was snowing as we left. Photo #2 is of the Manhattan Temple. Photo #3 shows Barb in front of the Mesa Arizona Temple.
What we have been up to . . .
